Terrier cross takes the biscuit

Shy and sweet Cookie seeks new owner

A SWEET terrier cross is seeking a new owner.

Meet Cookie, a five-year-old terrier cross who is ready to bring a touch of sweetness to the lives of a loving new owner.

Jenny Hopkins, assistant manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, said:

“Cookie is a very sweet girl who is happiest in the company of her favourite people – whether going on long country walks or playing with her toys. She can be a little shy when she first meets new people so new owners will need to give her the time and space she needs to settle in to her new surroundings.”

“Cookie is best suited to an adult-only household where someone can be around for most of the day to keep her company and dedicate time to continuing her training. She would like to be the only dog in the home so she can have her owners all to herself.”

Do you think you could give Cookie a happy home? Why not pop into the rehoming centre at Plumb’s Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks RG20 0HR or call the rehoming centre on 0300 303 0292.

Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for nearly 17,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 20 Rehoming Centres in the UK and one in Ireland.
