Thames Valley Rotarians send £45k aid package to Ukrainian hospitals

Thames Valley Rotary Club, supported by the Quakers, has raised thousands of pounds in relief aid to hospitals in Ukraine.

The club has raised more than £45,000 for two large generators, which have just been installed in two Kharkiv hospitals with the help of Ukrainian Rotarians.

And the club is now purchasing a third generator destined for another hospital in Kharkiv, in response to a list of Ukrainian hospitals provided by Rotary's International Fellowship of Healthcare Professionals.

The Rotary Club of Newbury is backing the plea for more help and said it still needs support to continue purchasing and installing more generators in Ukraine.
