Thames Water works to shut Bartholomew Street, Newbury

A busy street will be closed in Newbury throughout next week.
Bartholomew Street will be shut from Monday, October 9 until Friday, October 13 – between 9am and 6pm each day.
The closure will affect the stretch of road between Market Street and Mansion House Street, where sites and venues such as St Nicolas Church, The Newbury pub and Caffè Nero are based.
The closure is to allow Thames Water to install a new service connection.
Marshals will be on site to guide motorists and an alternative route for all vehicles affected will be signed on site.
Residential access will be maintained throughout the works and access to the Kennet Centre car park will remain unaffected.
