Thatcham-based business 500 logistics in Financial Times’ fastest growing company list
A Thatcham-based business has been recognised as one of Europe’s fastest growing companies.
500 Logistics, off Pipers Way, made it into the Financial Times 1,000 Europe’s fastest growing companies list.
The logistics company – which transported more than 200 trailers of event equipment for the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy – came in at 163 on the list.
The business was founded in 2016 and by 2019 it had a revenue of €275,283 (£234,450.27) and by 2022 this had increased to €3,064,617 (£2,610,042.36).
According to the Financial Times list, its compound annual growth rate is 126.8 per cent with its absolute growth rate at 1066.7 per cent.
In 2019 it had one employee but this grew to six employees by 2022.

In addition to its business success, 500 Logistics said it remains deeply committed to corporate social responsibility, actively participating in multiple charity initiatives, and creating employment opportunities within the local market.
The company recently took on its largest project to date, transporting more than 200 trailers of event equipment for the 2023 Ryder Cup in Italy.
It said the success of this project has paved the way for additional global projects of similar magnitude scheduled for 2024.
