Thatcham enjoys Platinum Jubilee celebration fit for a queen

LEARN MOREThere was plenty of family fun over the weekend as Thatcham came together to celebrate a once in a lifetime event fit for a queen.
The Churches of Thatcham held The Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday (June 5) with games, entertainment and plenty of food.
The event drew in around 1,200 people, bringing together local community stalls, bands and families.
Live music and good news stories featuring eight-piece band The Scene and Youth for Christ band.
Competitions also saw an array of talent displayed from the best Jubilee crown and Jubilee cake to five-a-side football.
The children also enjoyed an assault course and football fun.
Mayor of Thatcham Jeff Brooks was in attendance to meet, greet and present prizes for competition winners.
