Thatcham Family Fun Day returning next month
Thatcham’s annual flagship Family Fun Day event is returning for its 25th edition next month.
The event, hosted at Henwick Worthy Sports Ground, will open from 11am to 4pm on Sunday, June 29, featuring various activities and attractions.
A record-breaking 12,000 people attended the free event last year, and the town council hopes to welcome similar numbers again.
It will be offering a mix of returning favourites and new additions, all supported by Gold Sponsor Tigers Day Nursery, based in Turnpike Road.

And making its first appearance this year is the Under 5’s tent, from Toddle About Magazine, providing hands-on fun.
Back by popular demand, the dog show will return with categories for pups of all ages, including the ‘Dog That Looks Most Like Its Owner’, sponsored by Donnington Grove Small Animal Vets.
The classic car show, delivered by Thatcham Rotary Club and sponsored by Xtrac, will showcase a stunning collection of more than 150 vintage vehicles.

And adults can unwind with plenty of street food and craft beer options, including from home-grown Delphic Brewing Company or a refreshing cocktail from Gee Gee Gin, accompanied by live acoustic performances from the brand-new acoustic tent, including an open-mic hour for aspiring musicians.
The Dance Zone will also shine a spotlight on local talent with performances from regional dance schools.
And an engaging line-up of live music, magic shows by Fred in the Shed, line dancing, choirs and rock covers from the amazing Roadhouse will feature over on the main stage.
Newbury Pride will again be appearing at this year’s festivities.
