Thatcham man arrested following assault

An altercation occurred between two motorists in a lay-by following a crash between a Vauxhall Astra, with an 07 number plate, and a black Honda motorcycle.
The incident happened on Bath Road in Woolhampton at about 8.40am on August 29.
During the altercation, a man in his forties received a wound to his eye, for which he received treatment.
The offender is a white man, in his late teens or early twenties and of slim, muscular build.
He was wearing a blue top and grey shorts.

A 19-year-old man from Thatcham has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He has been released on police bail until October 7.
