Thatcham man hospitalised following Broadway fight





Thames Valley Police were called at 1.40am, to reports of an altercation outside the kebab van in the Broadway, Thatcham.
An argument had started between a group of people, and a man and his partner.
The argument turned physical and the man, aged 49 from Thatcham, sustained head injuries including cuts and bruises to his face.
He was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital for treatment, where he remains this afternoon
His condition is not described as serious.
Dc Jason Ward, who investigated the assault, said: “There were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident, and I would urge anyone who witnessed the initial argument or subsequent assault to contact me via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.”
