Mr Gow said: "Alex has been a PCSO from their inception but this award was for his services to the West Berkshire Cadets, which is once a week and gives up his own time to help develop and provide support and sessions for the cadets to enjoy.

"He is a great role model and is a great asset to West Berkshire and also works on the safeguarding team supporting children and adults in West Berkshire."
