Thatcham photographers present charity cheque

The club raised £570 for its chosen charity through raffles and donations throughout 2014 and handed over the cheque to the executive officer of the trust, Helen Milroy, at the Charles Clore unit based at the West Berkshire Community Hospital.
Club chairman, Paul Roberts, said that he was pleased with the sum raised, which was higher than the amount the club donated to the charity last year.
Mr Roberts said: “We thought it was appropriate for us to support them as it’s a local charity supporting local people.
“We are a community club and everyone knows someone with the terrible cancer disease and what little we can do to bring a few little extras into their lives we are very keen to do it.
"We are a club that genuinely tries to work in the community.”
