Thatcham retirees invited to solve crime in 'Murder Mystery' event
Thatcham retirees are invited to solve a crime at a ‘Murder Mystery’ event at Turner Place tomorrow (Wednesday).
The retirement living development, on The Moors, will be open to those who want to solve thrilling cases, while also enjoying lunch.
Hosted by retired detective, Paul Stickler will be aiding the retirees in tapping into their inner Sherlock Holmes.
After a long day of crime-solving, visitors can enjoy freshly made sandwiches, fruit platters and fresh juices.
There will also be a chance to investigate the grounds on their very own tour of the Turner Place development, designed for those over 60, which is located beside William House, which offers a living space for those over 70.
Divisional Marketing Manager for McCarthy Stone Southern Verity McKay said: “A warm welcome awaits local retirees and their families who attend our event on Wednesday, 10th November to take a closer look at Turner Place, as well as have the opportunity to enjoy an event full of suspense, history and crime investigation in our Murder Mystery event with Paul Stickler.
“It’s set to be a great day, and we can’t wait to bring the community together again for an opportunity to socialise.
“We’re looking forward to showcasing all that the development has to offer to local retirees and we’d like to encourage anyone interested to get in touch with us and secure their space without delay.”
Attendees are required to book in advance to secure a space on the guest list by calling 0800 310 0383.
