Thatcham retirement home hosts Christmas Open Week




A retirement home in Thatcham is hosting a Christmas open event for the community this week.

The William House development, on The Moors, opened its doors today (Tuesday) and will keep them open for the free event until Saturday, December 17.

People can enjoy some mince pies, drink some mulled wine and solve a murder mystery with retired detective Paul Stickler.

Divisional marketing manager Nicki Beswarick said: “Christmas is the season for bringing everyone together, which is why we’re proud to host our Christmas event for the community here at William House.

“We can’t wait to welcome local retirees and their families to join us and raise a glass to celebrate the festive season.”
