Bath Road between Henwick Lane and Turnpike Road junction closed both ways after accident between a lorry and cyclist
BATH Road in Thatcham is currently closed both ways between the Henwick Lane junction and the Turnpike Road junction because of an accident earlier this morning (Tuesday).
Police were called to a collision between a lorry and a cyclist at about 7.51am.
The cyclist has been taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading and a road closure was set up.
Thames Valley Police spokesman, Leo Tarring, said at 9.20am that the road closure was likely to be in place for a while.
