Thatcham road to close overnight this weekend

There will be an overnight road closure on Pipers lane this weekend.

The road will be closed on the night of May 21 (Saturday) between 6pm and 6am between its junctions with Aylesford Way and Station Road.

An alternative route is via Station Road, Pipers Way.

There is no reverse route as this is one-way.

The purpose of the closure is so SSEN can access overhead rail conductors.

Access to the station car park from Station Road will be permitted at all times.

Residential access will be maintained throughout and the diversion will be signed on site.

These will be advertised with the use of Advance Warning Signs locally when required.

It is envisaged further closures at this location will be required on July 1- July 2 and July 10 –July 11.

No parking or waiting will be permitted within the road closure, this may be applied in advance, so as to ensure that the area is clear.
