Thatcham Rotary are already getting their ducks in a row for the return of their popular rubber race.

The Great Thatcham Duck Race will be back at the Rowbarge Inn at Woolhampton on Sunday, September 3.

Last year around 4,300 rubber ducks made their way down the Kennet and Avon Canal in the highly anticipated annual event.

It raised a total of £3,400 for mental health charity Time to Talk West Berkshire.

The chosen charity this year will again be Time to Talk.

This year, pre-race attractions will start at 11am but ideas are still floating as to what they will be.

The race itself will commence at noon.

Kennet Radio will be returning to play music and provide commentary.
