Thatcham Santa Fun Run is coming back to town
Hundreds of Santas will be dashing through the snow in Thatcham soon.
In the run up to Christmas, many events are taking place in Thatcham, including the Great Santa Fun Run.
Thatcham Rotary Club is bringing its iconic 5k run back to town on December 3.
The annual event will be raising money for Eight Bells for Mental Health
Runners are also invited to raise money for their own good causes using this event.
Entrants will be provided with a Santa costume and can collect these from the Broadway green.
Thatcham Rotary has asked that people collect the costumes the day prior to the race day.
The run starts at 11am – after a 10.45am assemble at the starting line – and will be staggered to avoid bunching at the start gate.
It is open to Santas of all shapes, sizes and ages.
The runners will start from the Broadway, with marshals on hand to man the routes.
