Thatcham school Xmas fair raises a bumper £3k

On offer was stalls, games, a barbecue and visit from Santa.
Secretary of the parent teacher association at the Park Avenue school, Hilary Lawrie, said: "It was brilliant.
"We were really pleased with the amount raised - it's what we would normally make.
"The turn out was fantastic; it was a bumper year."
The funds raised will go back into the school but it is yet to be decided how this will be spent.
