Thatcham teenager dies in fatal motorcycle collision in Newbury
The 17-year-boy, who is yet to be named, was riding a blue Yamaha motorcycle on the A339 between the Robin Hood and Vodafone roundabouts when it was in collision with a blue Renault Clio at around 10.40pm.
The boy suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
PC Tim Offer, of Thames Valley Police, investigating the incident, said: “This is a fairly busy road and I am sure that there were other motorists in the area at the time who might have seen the collision happen, or the vehicles being driven beforehand.
“I would like to appeal to anyone who has information to come forward and contact the police.”
