The 17-year-boy, who is yet to be named, was riding a blue Yamaha motorcycle on the A339 between the Robin Hood and Vodafone roundabouts when it was in collision with a blue Renault Clio at around 10.40pm.
The boy suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

“I would like to appeal to anyone who has information to come forward and contact the police.”
If anyone witnessed the collision, or has information about this incident, please call investigating officer PC Tim Offer via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
