Thatcham travellers ordered to leave

Thatcham Town Council says that there are currently seven caravans and nine cars on the green.
They have been issued with an unauthorised incursion code of conduct and the police have details of the vehicles.
All travellers should have left the site by 5pm today.
The Town Council say that they will check if the travellers have left this evening.
They have put the grounds maintenance contractor on standby to clean up the site following their departure.
Travellers had also parked on land to the North of Drayton's View, Greenham.
Around 20 caravans were on the site but they have since been moved on by police.
