Thatcham wheelie bin fire suspected arson

Firefighter Simon Denham of Newbury Fire Station said one pump was called at 2am from the station to rubbish on fire in a wheelie bin on open ground near the station:
“Someone pulled a wheelie bin across a field and set it alight,” said Mr Denham.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze with buckets of water before leaving the scene.
