The Aldermaston and Wasing Show returns this weekend

The annual Aldermaston and Wasing Show, featuring its famous rubber duck derby, is taking place at the Old Mill in Aldermaston this Sunday.

The show, entering its 79th year, will have more than 100 individual competitions that local residents have taken part in.

Of the 107 different competitions, highlights include the best dressed and decorated rubber duck, the heaviest vegetable, and the best floral arrangement around the theme ‘fit for a queen’.

The duck derby race on the mill stream, a true highlight of the show, will see the owner of the victorious rubber duck take home £100.
