The Barn opening brings in £300 for Swings & Smiles

A fundraising hog roast was held at the hotel’s new restaurant, The Barn, on behalf of Swings & Smiles, which runs a recreational facility for families with children with special needs at the Phoenix Centre, Newtown Road, and is raising funds to open its own permanent centre.
Around 80 people attended the event and raised £325.
Swings & Smiles founder Sian Cook said: “We are so grateful to the team at the Hare & Hounds for continuing to support us.
“It is thanks to local organisations that we are able to continue to support families with special needs in and around West Berkshire.”
