'The Newbury' appears as revamped watering hole in town

No, it's not referring to the Newbury Weekly News, but the Bartholomew Street hostelry formerly known as The Bricklayers has been transformed and changed its name, and is now managed by Clarke Oldfield and Peter Lumber (pictured).
Mr Oldfield, aged 32, was formerly head chef at The Albion in Clifton, Bristol, and Mr Lumber ran The Cartwheel, also in Bristol.
Mr Oldfield said: “We bake our own bread and pastries on site and make almost everything ourselves. We want to make this a quality eating establishment for the whole community.
“We also want to rear own pigs and chickens nearby.”
