Monroe tours the villages in Some Like it Hotter

Tony Curtis, Jack Lemon and Marilyn Monroe are back and touring the villages in SOME LIKE IT HOTTER by Richard Hurford, a new musical comedy co-produced by The Watermill Theatre and Oxfordshire Theatre Company. It's a fast moving comedy, with daring dialogue, razor sharp wisecracks and fabulous music with all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood at its most seductive.

Playing 14 venues on a four-week autumn tour, prior to another in the spring, the show is at The Watermill from November 15 to 19.

It's the after-life and Curtis, Lemon and Monroe are on hand to provide the ultimate in movie tourism, the Some Like It Hot post-death experience. Then Charlie arrives. His dream has always been to play in the film's band, and low and behold his dream is about to come true. Before he knows it Charlie is in a frock, wearing heels, playing keyboards and on the way to Florida in the movie. However it appears that Charlie's appearance in the after-life is a bit premature but he has a reason for not wanting to return to the real world.
