The Woodspeen tops list of frontrunners for Good Food Guide Best Local Restaurants

Halfway through voting, The Good Food Guide has released 16 frontrunners in its Best Local Restaurants Awards – and a Newbury one is top of the list.

The Woodspeen – which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year – is hoping to take home the title of Good Food Guide Best Local Restaurant 2024.

The accolade seeks to recognise restaurants outside of London which deliver regularly changing seasonal menus, strong relationships with suppliers and a consistently warm welcome for guests.

With a few weeks remaining, voters can still nominate their favourite local restaurant and be in with a chance of winning a £250 restaurant voucher.
