The Woodspeen team to open new restaurant near Maidenhead
The team behind two West Berkshire eateries are opening a new restaurant.
The Braywood, located on the former site of the Royal Oak in Paley Street near Maidenhead, will officially open to customers on November 23.
The restaurant marks the latest venture of WSH Restaurants, which also owns The Woodspeen, The Boxford and The Sparsholt in South Oxfordshire.
And overseeing the kitchen will be Sam Brennan, previously head chef at The Woodspeen, whose cooking will focus on seasonal British produce, using local suppliers.
Hospitality will be overseen by general manager Thomas Gammella, previously restaurant manager at The Woodspeen.
WSH Restaurants managing director Alessandro Fasoli said: “I’m incredibly proud to have overseen The Braywood project from start to finish.
“It’s been a privilege to watch our talented team come together and create something truly special.
“From the initial concept to the final touches, every detail has been meticulously crafted to provide an unforgettable dining experience.
“We can’t wait to welcome diners from near and far to discover The Braywood and experience what we've created.”
The Braywood will open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, and lunch on Sundays.
It includes a 70-cover dining room, cocktail bar and landscaped gardens with terrace seating for around 36 covers, which will be available during the summer months.
