WHS Restaurants’ The Woodspeen to open new restaurant in Boxford

The team behind acclaimed restaurant The Woodspeen are opening a new eatery in Boxford.

WHS Restaurants is set to open its new venture The Boxford in November.

The Boxford is a new-build property which was formally occupied by The Bell at Boxford.

The restaurant will be seven metres in height and fitted with a sustainably thatched roof.

Menus will be compiled in a few weeks and the team at The Boxford say it will be a family-friendly, all-day dining concept.

They want the new venture to be a place for morning coffee as well as an intimate evening meal destination.

Managing director Alessandro Fasoli said: “The Boxford will be a little different to The Woodspeen.

“Guests can expect a similar level of care and hospitality, but it’s a produce-led all-day dining concept that we’re bringing to life here, something more relaxed that’s a great fit for families.

“We will open our doors early for coffee and they’ll stay open all day for long lunches, quick suppers and intimate meals.”
