The Wurzels are rolling into Newbury on their combine harvester for one night only




Hosted by Berkshire Young Farmers, the legendary popular country band The Wurzels are coming to Newbury Showground.

Newbury is in for a treat on Friday, May 20, when The Wurzels will be playing live.

All tickets are £27.50 including children – each ticket will include a hog roast.

Gates open at 7pm and tickets are available online only. No dogs are allowed.

The gig has been organised by Berkshire Young Farmers who will be holding the Berkshire YFC Country Fayre at the showground on Sunday, May 22.

The country fair will be an opportunity for visitors to find out more about what the Berkshire Young Farmers do as well as enjoy plenty of entertainment.

There will be a hot air balloon team, gun dog displays, sheep trials and vintage farm machinery will be on display.

There will also be a countryside area, plenty of refreshment stalls and competitions.

Gates open at 9am and the show closes at 5pm.

Adult tickets £8.50, children £4, under fives enter free, no ticket required.

Car parking is in a field with disabled parking at the front. Dogs are allowed to the fayre but must be kept on a lead at all times.

The Berkshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs welcomes young people aged between 10 and 28 years. Berkshire is part of the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, an organisation with more than 20,000 members. There are four Young Farmers clubs in Berkshire.
