Theale Green pupils celebrate exam success with Olympian

Olympic gold medalist, Anna Watkins, who won women’s double scull at the London 2012, was guest of honour at the school's A-Level presentation (top right).
At these awards the Academic Excellence Trophy was awarded to Claudia Rodriguez and the Sixth Form Progress Award was won by Lucy Prince.

serving member of staff, Jean Tynan, who was employed at the school as a midday supervisor and later a teaching assistant between 1975 and her retirement in July 2012.
Among the many prize winners at the event was Angharrad Magowan, who won the John Davies Trophy for academic excellence, while the Progress Award went to Zoe Harwood and Alex Eaton received the John Madejski Trophy for endeavour.
Headteacher, Sue Marshall paid tribute to the hard work of the pupils and staff, as well as the support provided by parents.
