Theale library hours to be shortened

The opening hours will remain constant throughout the year however, effectively lengthening the hours during holidays from 21 hours a week to 26.
West Berkshire Council is inviting library users to pick one of three options - all adding up to 26 hours a week - for the daily breakdown of opening hours.
Council spokeswoman Peta Stoddart-Crompton said: “If you have a view on the proposals you are welcome to have your say either by visiting Theale library or by completing the online survey form at www.westberks.gov.uk/thealeonlinesurvey.”
