Theale lights up for Christmas

The Christmas lights switch-on will take place in Theale High Street today (Saturday)

THEALE is switching its Christmas lights on today (Saturday).

The event will be held in Theale High Street beginning at 6pm and running until 9pm.

There will be lots to do for young and old, from Santa's Grotto in the John Cumber Hall, to a nativity in the rear garden of the Falcon pub.

Carol singing will commence at 7.45pm, and there will also be a treasure hunt for children, face painting, barbecue food and mulled wine.
