Reading Magistrates' Court: Aldermaston man sent to crown court on theft charge




A MAN accused of stealing cash will have his case heard at the crown court.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, January 4, was Philip Small.

The 39-year-old, of Old Stocks Farm, Paices Hill, Aldermaston, is accused of stealing £200 in cash from Maks Pruszewicz in Reading on September 25 last year.

District judge Kathryn Verghis told Mr Small, who was legally represented by Sotiris Yiakoumi, that the matter was being sent to Reading Crown Court to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury.

Mr Small was meanwhile granted bail with conditions.
