Hamsters play ZZ Top and Hendrix at April 1 gig at Arlington Arts
Having established quite a local following, The Hamsters return to Newbury after a two-year hiatus on Friday, April 1 for a gig at Arlington Arts.
Although primarily playing their own brand of rootsy rock, blues and Americana, they're also widely regarded as the UK's leading interpreters of the music of Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top, and this time around the show is almost exclusively dedicated to these two artists.
Established more than 23 years ago, The Hamsters have played more than 4,000 gigs and their fanbase is a who's who of great musicians and musical commentators.
Tickets, priced £16 (£14 discounts) are available from the box office, telephone (01635) 244246, r vist www.arlingtonarts.co.uk
