Thieves steal cash box from Newbury restaurant in early-morning burglary

Thames Valley Police has made an appeal for information after a restaurant in Weavers Walk, Newbury, was raided by burglars on Friday morning.

At around 3am, thieves smashed through the door of the business, making off with a petty cash box.

Investigators are not naming the restaurant, but they urge anyone with potentially relevant information to get in touch with the Police Enquiry Centre on 101, quoting reference 43210418794.
