Thieves take power tools from van parked in Newbury street




Power tools have been stolen from a van parked in a Newbury street.

The incident happened 11pm on Friday, July 19, and 11am the following morning at an address in Berkeley Road.

The thieves broke into a grey Transit van and helped themselves to a number of items, including: a DeWalt 230v circular saw, a DeWalt 18v circular saw, a DeWalt 18v sds drill, two DeWalt cordless drills, a DeWalt cordless screwdriver and impact gun, two DeWalt cordless impact drivers, five charges and five batteries.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly if they have dashcam, doorbell or CCTV footage that could help their investigation.
