Thieves target vehicles in Pangbourne




Police appeal for information following spate of break-ins

POLICE are appealing for information after a number of vehicles were broken into in Pangbourne at the weekend.

Overnight between Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28 a white Ford Transit parked in Bucknell Avenue was broken into.

Thieves had jemmied one of the doors to gain access and money was stolen.

At around 1.38am on Saturday, November 28 two males were disturbed breaking into a white Ford Transit parked in Bourne Road.

The males were caught removing tools from the van which they then abandoned in boxes beside the vehicle after they were disturbed.

Both males were of slim build, around 5ft 10’’ and wearing grey hoodies with the hoods up.

Then overnight between Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29 a grey Vauxhall Astra was stolen from Horseshoe Road.
