Third day of travel chaos for motorists this morning (Weds)

Yesterday, motorists told NewburyToday that it was taking them up to two hours to reach Chieveley Services from the centre of Newbury.
The Highways Agency said it was planning to carry out emergency repair work to fix a broken loop which was sending incorrect traffic data to the traffic lights - and was confident that the issue would be resolved by this morning's rush hour.
However, the lights are still not working correctly and today motorists are being forced to endure delays of at least 30 minutes around the junction, which in turn is causing further delays on the A34.
