This week's My Newbury

And it would seem that one of this week’s My Newbury photographers knew what he meant.
Peter Orr, LRPS, went out on to Walbury Hill early morning last week and captured this ethereal scene as he looked out towards Newbury – it does look as if you could tiptoe across the layers of misty clouds and up into the sky above.
He wasn’t our only photographer who turned their lens towards the heavens, as cloudy days inspired Jo Baston, who captured a quintessentially English scene of the harvest taking place under a sky of blue dotted with puffy clouds as they sun breaks through; also Matthew Martin’s whose picture taken at Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre of the cloudy sky is so atmospheric it could be a water colour; and moody storm clouds over the Gibbet near Inkpen was the subject of Scott Elliott photo.
