Thousands of enthusiasts turn out for bus and coach show

The Bus and Coach Preservation Show at Newbury Showground on Sunday featured more than 100 vintage buses and coaches, some pre-dating world war two.
As well as vintage vehicles there were numerous trade stands, advice on restoration, children’s rides and free bus rides around the site.
Around 2,500 enthusiasts attended the event, aimed at celebrating Bus and Coach Preservation Magazine’s 15th anniversary.
A spokeswoman for the organisers, Sandra Lamb, said: “It was fantastic. We’ve had more than 500 emails from people saying how much they enjoyed it. It was the perfect place to hold the show.
“We’re already in touch with the showground to try to book it again for next year because it was such a huge success.”
