Thousands of pounds of cable stolen from Greenham business
Police are appealing for witnesses after the fence was cut and cable stolen from a New Greenham Park business
THOUSANDS of pounds worth of cable has been stolen from a business at New Greenham Park last weekend.
Between 6pm on Friday, March 1 and 9.30am on Monday, March 4, it is believed offenders approached the business from Greenham Common and cut a fence before accessing the building and stealing the cable.
Pc Steven Hayward, from Greenham Neighbourhood policing team said: “There is no access to Greenham Common to vehicles, so anyone in the area who saw a vehicle in the area may have taken particular notice.
“I believe someone must have seen something as may dog walkers use the common.”
Anyone with information about this incident should contact Pc Hayward on the police enquiry centre on 0845 8 505 505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
