Three arrested in connection with van theft




Trio bailed to appear in court later this month

THAMES Valley Police arrested three people in connection with the attempted theft of a van in Newbury in the early hours of Tuesday.

Police were called to Redfield Court just before 2am after receiving a report of several people trying to break into a Ford Escort van.

The van's passenger door was damaged during the incident.

Three men, aged 24, 23 and 21, were arrested a short time later and taken in to custody for questioning.

All three men have been released on bail until February 24.
