Three arrests after mass brawl at racecourse
At around 4pm a fight broke out, it is believed, between men who had come to the races from Cardiff and Swansea.
The incident began on the ground floor of the grandstand and then spread out on to the racecourse grounds itself in front of terrified racegoers.
Det. Sgt Warren Craik, who is investigating said: “It’s believed between fifty and sixty people were involved in this disorder, but it was quickly brought under control by police.”
