Three day closure for water works in Mortimer

Thames Water is to close a road in Mortimer for three days next month.

It needs to carry out maintenance and repair works on Pitfield Lane.

To allow its contractors to work safely, they will close the road between its junctions with The Street and Drury Lane.

Residents will be able to access their homes throughout the works, but a diversion is to be set up for all other motorists.

Emergency services will be able to continue to use the road.

The works take place from Wednesday, October 2, through to Friday, October 4.
