Three in hospital after two-van collision closes road near Aldermaston

The crash happened around 6am this morning (Sunday) between a white Citroen and a red Volkswagen; both vans, at the A340 and A4 split near Aldermaston travelling westbound.
Francine Rodriguez from Thames Valley Police said: "We were called to a two-van collision at 6.10am on the A4 in the direction of Newbury from the A320.
"The road was re-opened at 8:50 and the two drivers were both injured and taken to hospital."
The as yet unnamed male drivers' injuries are reported to be serious but not life threatening. One male passenger was also admitted to Royal Berkshire Hospital where all three remain.
