Three injured as Mini ends up on roof in North Hampshire

THREE people were injured after a mini convertible ended up on its roof at Little Knowl Hill yesterday (Saturday).

The driver of the car lost control, knocking over a telegraph pole and rolling the car onto its roof.

Hampshire Constabulary said three people suffered minor injuries.

The vehicle was empty when police arrived at the scene, but the casualties, aged 27, 34 and 31, were later stopped nearby.

The accident occurred at 6.50pm at B3051 Little Knowl Hill, approximately one mile from A339.

A Hampshire constabulary spokesperson said: “A white mini convertible ended up on its roof after knocking a telegraph pole over as the driver lost control.

“It blocked the road for a while.

“The vehicle was empty when we arrived.

“Three people aged 27, 34 and 31 were stopped nearby with minor injuries.”

Officers are now investigating the incident, and no one has been arrested at this stage.

The road was closed for over an hour.
