Three more retailers join Parkway

Paperchase, Fat Face and Costa have all signed up to the mixed-use development this week

THREE more retailers have signed up to Newbury's Parkway development this week.

Paperchase, Fat Face and Costa have all joined the ever-increasing retail line-up at the mixed-use project, which is set to open to the public in October.

Paperchase, which is a new retailer to Newbury, has taken a 3,100 sq ft unit over two floors, while Fat Face, which has an existing store in Bartholomew Street, Newbury, has committed to a 3,600 sq ft unit on two floors and Costa, which has an existing outlet on Northbrook Street, has taken a 2,982 sq ft unit with an additional external seating area on East Street.

All units have been let on 10-year leases and the retailers join anchor tenants Debenhams and the other confirmed stores; H&M, New Look, Topshop, Jones the Bootmaker, Lakeland and Barclays.

Head of UK retail at Parkway's developers Standard Life Investments, Ed Jenkins, said: “We are delighted to welcome these new retailers to our exciting line-up at Parkway.

“With over 57 per cent now let or in solicitor's hands, and knowing what other negotiations are advancing, our tenant mix is really taking shape and we look forward to opening a successful scheme in October.”
