Network Rail will shut Hungerford level crossing on Station Road next month for three nights

Double check your travel plans next month as there’s a planned Network Rail closure, writes Grace Clift.

Hungerford level crossing on Station Road will be shut overnight from February 5 until February 7.

Network Rail’s planned closure of the level crossing is taking place in order to replace the level crossing surface.

The closure will be on the level crossing only, not all of Station Road.

Works will take place from 10pm until 5.30am across the three nights and both residential and blue light access will not be available.
