Newbury and Greenham men Tommie Jury, Matthew Fisher and Robert Curtis sent to crown court on threats charge
THREE men have been sent to the crown court charged with making violent threats.
Tommie Jury, aged 34, of Fleetwood close, Newbury, Robert Curtis, aged 34, of Denman Drive, Newbury, and Matthew Fisher, aged 30, of Wormersley Road, Greenham, all appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, October 25.
All three are accused of using or threatening unlawful violence such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his personal safety at Waller Drive, Newbury, on July 25, 2020.
The trio, who were legally represented at the hearing, were told the case was being sent to Reading Crown Court to be dealt with by a judge and, in the event of a trial, by a jury.
They were meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
