Three-year-old Chieveley youngster in Christmas card competition
Three-year-old Rose Chapman-White and her pre-school friends were designing Christmas cards to be sold to family and friends.
However, when the designs were sent for printing to online organisation Mini Me Cards & Gifts, the staff were so impressed with Rose’s creativity that they entered her work into its annual Christmas card competition.
Her artwork will now be judged by a professional artist who will decide overall winners from across the UK.
Deputy manager at the pre-school, Sarah King, said: “We think creativity is vital for helping children develop.
“Our aim is to develop great life skills for all our children to use in later life.
“We really enjoyed making our art, which was made into free greetings cards, but had no idea we would get into the finals.
“There are some great prizes so we are keeping our fingers crossed.”
